Guys, it's all well and great for Viktor to have legs, but they're not gonna work when his lungs give out, or did you forget? XD I know you surely haven't. For example, in real life, for example, my legs work perfectly, but I can't run on them - well, physically, I can, I've done it a few too more times, to not be late to an exam at Uni or another - but you know what happens to me when I stupidly run like an idiot? Well, I might tell you. Cuz my lungs are perfect, but my heart, well, it has slight issues, so on paper, I'm in the mid-range disabled, IRL. I don't consider myself disabled - I'm not hindered in life, so I'd feel stupid and like I'm stealing spotlight from truly disabled people, who have got it like Viktor (who's not real, but, just as example of conditions) or much, much, much worse than him. So, on paper I'm disabled, so.. wanna know what happens if I run a few steps to make it on time to a bus, like an idiot, instead of leaving home earlier like a reasonable person with Ebstein's (one of my two heart conditions). So, what happens is - not too great, but not bad, comparatively, it's just this, and mind you, the only organ that's not optimal in my body is my heart, literally, so what happens is, when I 'run', I : 1. I feel like a tennis ball travels all the way from my ribs up to my throat and then lodges itself there, and won't dislodge, not until I rest, sitting or squatting, on the ground, for ten minutes at least, that's the least not great thing that might happen cuz of my stupidity, but, sometimes: 2. Besides the unimpotant feeling of the tennis ball journey, I might vomit but sometimes also 3. I get short of breat, dizzy like it's the disco, and then, well, the (feeling of) tennis ball) becomes the feeling of the football making the same journey. Over all, compartively, it's nothing compared to what sb with Viktor's conditon, but in real life, would be feeling. Just saying? not saying that I understand Viktor, cuz I don't - my lungs work perfectly. But. Just saying. /shrugs

Jayce is soo privileged, he doesn't even negotiate, he straight goes for what he wants coz he thinks he will get it.. Unheard of in the undercity. That's how Jayce knows he's unfit to govern them.

When he poured one out for his dead homie Vander, finally understanding why Vander gave up the fight against top side, for his little girls... Silco is easily the best character in this show which is crazy coz Jinx is right there too.

2025-06-05 10:47:09 +0000 UTCI think not being sure on your support for a character in this show is evident of what they try to portray. Every single character is gray. There is no black and white. When you take a side, you also experience its contrast. With Jayce, you see the disconnect from his position and his privilege in his governance, despite his heart. With Silco you see insecurity and bloodborn, necessary evil, but you also see empathy and compassion in how he felt Jinx was going through what he was going through. Betrayal by family, and therefore he adopted her as his kin. I think it's an incredibly humanitarian social commentary.

This is genuinely one of the best seasons of TV that has been released in a very long time. I personally think s2 is a lot weaker when it comes to the writing and setting, but it is what it is. Looking forward to your reactions to it anyway.
