2025-06-12 16:03:40 +0000 UTCi know caitlyn is grieving, and i dont want to minimize her pain, but i think it was kind of unfair of her when she said she knows how vi feels about her parents being killed by enforcers. there is a difference in these two situations, especially when it comes to which "side" of the piltover/zaun conflict is holding all the power. as vi said in season one, she grew up understanding that her place was below that of the topsiders, and the enforcers regularly abused their power against the underground. being poor and living under the rule of people who dont give a shit about you is a lifelong experience that changes everything about the way you live, and caitlyn did not experience that. its a fundamental difference in their experiences. asking vi to become an enforcer is unfair in my opinion. though vi ends up agreeing, i fully understand her immediate reaction
