There is scenes of Singed having a man strung up in his lab working on him for like 2 seconds in the end of season 1 I think. Likewise there is pieces to all the "mysteries" everywhere but the sheer amount of them makes it imo impossible to pick up on everything on the first watch. I love the pacing of Arcane, though for some it makes it seem like the plot has holes. I feel it's more like having to "read between the lines" of the hints you get. Then, as you keep watching, you find more and more puzzle pieces helping you see the bigger picture. In a way the writers are giving the viewers a lot of respect and trust in finding the answers hidden in the subtext. Also increases the discussion around the show cause people try to understand it together. Like I'm still shifting my understanding of the show as a whole watching it with y'all and it's probably my 5th or 6th time seeing it. The questions y'all have are good and you should keep trying to guess and figure out what's going on. That's how the writers want it. Cause when you think you just maybe caught on to what's gonna happen, that's when they throw you a curveball so hard your whole understanding of the show changes. But that's also something you only get to experience on your first watch, so savour it!

2025-06-17 11:39:41 +0000 UTCThis is my own theory but I think the reason Jinx reacted that way to Sevika slamming her fist near her is because Vi used to abuse Powder when they were kids and she got PTSD from it. I’m pretty sure it was hinted that Vi is abusive by Jinx this episode and in the MV “enemies” (the music video came out during the first season)
