I appreciate ya'll comments at the end --insightful and on point! What i find i interesting is that at the beginning Loid said that part of why he works as a spy is for children to get a better life that he couldn't (or smth along those lines. can't remember the exact wording) and now Loid, someone who hasn't had any experience with children prior to Strix, has to learn more about those he wants to make a better world for (kids like Anya). It teaches him to look at the world not in the cold, objective & detached way he's always done & helps him grow as a character. good stuff.

This is when Yor is definitely needed as a way of bringing him back to reality. Another thing to remember is how the scientists in the lab made Anya study when she wanted to play, which is why she hates studying now. Add that to her age of only 4 or 5, instead of the 6 she pretends to be, and you can see why she has such trouble with school.

2025-06-19 01:09:01 +0000 UTCRemember guys, WISE (Loid's agency) keeps losing agents by the day, as said by Loid himself in episode 2. Loid has to take more than one spy mission at a time to cover for this. So even though Strix is the main mission, he still has to do more missions too on the side.
