2025-07-09 15:34:49 +0000 UTCYou guys aren't reaching even Ella purnell (who voices Jinx) was asked if Jinx is dead and she looked nervous and said she can't say which if she was really dead it would just be a straight forward answer. Silco told Jinx the only way to break the cycle is walk away. She was going to do that by killing herself but Ekko even told her it's never to late to build something new ... perhaps a new life somewhere else. Bc theres just to many hints. Like when Jinx is falling right after vander blows out the candle you seea streak of purple going into the air ducts, the same air ducts caitlyn was looking at while holding her monkey bomb in the end. And you see the air balloon which in EP 1 powder says "im gonna ride in one someday" not to mention the episode ends with Jinx's signature glitch like the first season.

2025-06-30 00:19:45 +0000 UTCYou guys need to watch the league of legends cinematics if you want to learn more about the world of this series, the animation in them is insane with some getting hundreds of millions of views on youtube. if think that these characters are crazy, in terms of strength the arcane charcters are some of the weakest ones, there are characters out there who would even make light work of victor. the main ones to watch would be the call, warriors, awaken, welcome to noxus, all of the legends of runeterra ones, ruination, the shadow isles, legends never die, kin of the stained blade, still here, and so many more, some of these also have characters from arcane in them as well.

2025-06-29 21:51:22 +0000 UTCDon't worry, there are SO many hints Jinx is alive: 1. in the explosion, there's a line of pink that shoots away from the explosion very quickly. It's the same pink line that appears when Jinx's shimmer allows her to quickly move from one place to another 2. Caitlyn checking the area of the explosion showed that there were side tunnels that Jinx could have escaped through 3. The final shot of the flying ship never reveals who is inside (Mel is in the Noxian ships and Vi and Cait are still in Piltover), BUT in season 1 episode 1, Power says that one day she's going to fly in one of the those ships. This is a very good hint that Jinx was "walking away" just like her hallucination of Silco said

2025-06-29 07:38:37 +0000 UTCthe one moment where vi finally takes a second to mourn and it completely backfires on her. vi’s emotions always come back to bite her and it’s tragic because she literally runs fully on her emotions. as both vander and caitlyn said, she has a good heart. and as jinx said, she cannot accept that there are no happy endings. the thing that always screws vi over is how much she cares, how much she loves, how big her emotions are. and this one moment where she pauses to let herself feel the sadness of knowing that vander is fully gone, ends in the “death” of her sister, the person who she’s been trying to get back to for almost a decade. this show, man…

2025-06-28 20:21:40 +0000 UTCima just say this cause it has to be said. arcane is the new undisputed peak in animation and theres a few shows with similar styles that came after but probably were inspired by arcane to some degree i.e. blue eye samurai which is also peak, to be hero x which is also nice but not quite on arcanes level, and recently predator killer of killers which is a high must watch but tbh you should see the og and prey before although theyre live action. back to arcane as i said it just set a new standard and this immediately became my favorite style of animation, the mix between 2d and 3d and everything feeling painted, and also the composition is insane, so are the style changes, so is the music ALL of which with few short exceptions were made specifically for arcane and the other ones for league in general. and not just the extra songs but also the soundtrack in general where phenomenal

2025-06-28 15:43:20 +0000 UTCIn-case you didn't know, Jinx is at least implied to not be dead. If you notice right before the explosion, there is a purple shimmer pattern. I think one other big issue with season 2, is the writers definitely use "the show, don't tell method" too much. As a storyteller, you have to balance story telling themes and methods and season 2 very much uses that a lot. I personally don't think it makes people idiots if they seem confused at times in during season 2, especially if you don't know league lore. Besides that, y'all gotta deep dive league and etc. now There are cinematics that tie directly into Arcane, I would start with "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" followed by "Welcome to Noxus 2025" then "A Dark Gambit." Gotta react to "Bridging the Rift." A really great documentary on making of season 1 of Arcane.

2025-06-28 15:35:52 +0000 UTCTo be perfectly honest, I was quite disappointed with the final act in Season 2. (Especially with how they decided to end Jinx's character. She honestly deserved a much better character conclusion) Arcane Season 1 is a masterpiece, but to me the star of the show is undoubtly Powder, a naive little girl who, in the persuit of family approval and prosperity, was doomed to live in a cruel world which cursed her with both knowledge and helplessness. During Season 1, the show portrayed how much better the world could've been, if it wasn't for the greed of those who completely disregarded the outcasts, and how such cruel fortune was able to crush such a pure innocent girl like Powder who becomes Jinx as a coping mechanism to survive in such a ruthless environment . As Powder watches her sister, her guardian angel abandon her, Powder gives up on everything including her own fragility and rebels against the "heaven" who betrayed her, choosing to burn it down, hoping to at least feel some sort of warmth, as an act of vengeance to express her eternal mourning, as it was beautifully represented in this final act. Jinx is the protagonist because she accepts the world as her enemy. Because the world challenged her, and she lost. And by bearing such loss, she now only wants the world to suffer with her in a collective grief while she mourns like a crow full of resentment contemplating the sunset, fully aware of the good that once existed and what could have been. A beautiful ending for a beautifully tragic character like her. ...but then they decided to forget about the story's complex social political themes and leave it all just like that....a real shame
