So glad you guys are getting into the league videos! There’s so much to offer, from top tier animation, lore and music!! Their live performances for worlds openings (the esports ceremonies) are AMAZING (especially 2019, 2023 and 2024!!) Thanks for these reactions guys <3

2025-08-11 00:15:56 +0000 UTCfun fact about get jinxed song: in the song when she's dancing with the robot body, she says "let's burn the city to ashes, and see what Pow-Pow thinks." This is a layered lyric with 2 meanings! This line always was a bit of an interesting line because the game her mini gun is called Pow-Pow in the game (as in pew pew gun), but the line here always sounded weird, like, we know she talks to her guns and so she can be just rambling about burning the whole world down, but why SPECIFICALLY say "let's see what POW POW" thinks as opposed to her other guns? In fact her super mega death rocket (the shark rocket) would do a better job in burning the world down. ANDDDD Arcane came up, and we find out that Pow-Pow is the name the Vi calls Powder. Jinx is saying "I'm going to burn down this city, and see what Powder thinks" (as in, referring to the Powder personality in her that she suppressed as her mind fractured.) BOOM, mind blow. (pun intended) This lyric was 11 years in the making. There's a lot of subtle homages in the game too, like : - Ekko saying to jinx "i always had a crush on you... until you started talking to your guns". - the whole Vi/Caitlyn gay relationship was always hinted at but only confirmed in the show, as caitlyn uses "cupcakes" for her traps in the game. - And the biggest plot twist of them all: Vander being Warwick. The sound effects from the show when Vander snarls are directly taken FROM the game audio, and there were snippets in the game voice lines before when interacting with champions like Vi and Jinx. - Even a "fear" champion like fiddlesticks would tell Vi "You were there... that day", and telling jinx "Why... why did you do this" (which is an EXACT verbatem line from the arcane show when Vi punches Powder and tells her "why, why did you do this", which is powder's greatest fear of not being accepted and then the PTSD that happened since she killed everyone that day... A lot of those things came full circle in the show, including the GetJinxed song that jinx was indeed playing when Silco came in yelling at her for blowing up hte enforcers in S1 Episode 4: progress day. "JINX!! -- Yuppppp that's meeeee"
