It's similar to Haikyuu in complex characters that evolve and learn how to be a team together. It's well written and animated and you'll end up being fond of them all!

I mean, surely you will watch them someday, specifically hopefully posting reactions to it...... ( I literally just completed watching 86, watched 2 seasons in 2 days aka 1 season per day and oh man...... This story, anime is ridiculously GOOD. It's really sad that it lost to... something else.

The court politics, a plot full of mysteries everyday, the unique and refreshing setting with all the culture that they aren't familiar with, wonderfully fleshed out characters with their own personal goals, conflicts etc. The romance sub plot is equally fantastic, but the show is so rich that it's just an icing on the cake imo. I genuinely can't think of a reason that they wouldn't absolutely enjoy it. There is so much content to pick apart and theorize about. Also, it's a good thing that they have a separate slot for Slice of Life anime. I am sure that they'll get to the other shows after AD.

Like, isn't it more fun to have some hype to get excited about or mysteries for them to pick apart? Best case in AD is a chuckle here and there. Still think the guys will like it, but some of the other options would have been more fun to watch them watch.
