Most of the images I put on Patreon are in the process of being created, and the images I render with 3D software may or may not have shadows, which is fine for single image output, but sometimes I render images without shadows as sequential files when I want to quickly check character motion. This is not a problem for a single picture output. The raw images rendered by 3dsmax are not used as a movie, but are processed by After Effects in various ways to create a single finished movie.
