Oh! Believe me I was terrified of going into the water after reading the book after seeing the movie screw beaches screw the oceanβ¦. Eff all that noise! Hahaha

2022-07-01 20:38:42 +0000 UTCI read the book in my teens and absolutely loved it so much so that I went on to read a few other books by Peter Benchley. You do find out more about the wife and more about Hooper and such. Thereβs obviously better character depth than you can squeeze into a movie. But 100% an amazing summer reading book. And I highly recommend.
