Happy Holidays + Question

So, I lied in the heading. This isn't a question. It's more like a... topic?
I've got an idea of exactly how I want this second arc to end but would like to hear what you lot are most looking forward to for this arc. It could be a fresh angle that I hadn't considered and, since you guys are paying for this car crash of a story, the least I could do is hear you out.

I hear that. This arc will focus on developing combat capabilities that will then be applied as missions get more dangerous. That doesn't mean there'll be a several chapter on a single training session or one chapter on one single jutsu, though. I think that this training mini-arc in preparation for harder missions would do well with something a bit more slice-of-lifey. I've got a couple of plans there.

2023-12-25 23:18:07 +0000 UTCI think for me, as much as I enjoy a good training arc, unless it requires it and is something we haven't seen before, keep it simple. A smarter, more diverse Naruto is obviously going to train a lot more variety and I think Asuma will have a lot to teach him and his team, but we don't need entire chapters going over a single Jutsu or technique unless it is something super interesting. The exception would be if it was a 'timeskip' chapter I suppose in where multiple periods of time pass in different paragraphs showing progress. Nothing against that at all, I'd just rather see Naruto and co progress in more ways than just his techniques. Even if that ends up being more..slice of life? Naruto setting up a new house for example, or requesting information on his clan. Will Asuma talk to him about his parents for example? Whatever you decide to do, I think there is a lot to explore, more than just training
