Just to he clear, in the present, it is both The Evil Eye and the Death Worm right?

Evil Eye can be seen but the Death Worm that isn't as visible, so when the people kill themselves they blame the entity that can be seen. Evil Eye is blocking the children he's trying to play with from being hit by the suicide beam. But the parents who don't see him don't benefit from it being blocked. As for what Evil Eye *is* up to... π€
