I watched that in the cinema when it came out, and that moment towards the end with *SPOILER ALERT* Norman and the Witch, when it just becomes this incredible silence, was truly masterful! the plot twist was great. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys stop-motion and sort-of horror.

2024-09-27 13:11:48 +0000 UTCIf the author's accusations make you uncomfortable, it might help to know that the book is actually really different to the movie. Like the two worlds angle and the main character's name are the same and that's about it- this is really Henry Selick's work.

2024-09-26 23:31:33 +0000 UTCThis movie was released in 3D! I went to see it in theaters with a friend when it first came out. Some shots, like the sewing needle in the intro, fell into that corny 3D shot trope lol.
