When someone is particularly susceptible to hypnosis, or they are inclined to think often about being hypnotised, they may find that they can go into trance quite by accident, just seeing when someone is getting hypnotised.
In group settings, the hypnotist may warn those in the audience to try to avoid unintended hypnosis, or try not follow along with the process. Some will always forget to remember how easily they may become drawn in to the same spell. Or perhaps it's what they always wanted anyway, hmm?
