The SFX on the first panel is a reference to Blame! That's why I made the laser gun go 'BLAAME!' instead of Pew Pew. Always find it hard to draw English SFX. I decided my methology is to go with verbal consonant sounding like maybe 'VVRRRRMMM!' instead of like 'VROOM!' for a car or like PLAAB PLAAB PLAAB instead of SMACK SMACK SMACK. I feel like its technically more accurate to the real sound and seeing the words like THRUST THRUST THRUST takes away from that raw sounding energy that it should be.

In the Blame anime 3sCG movie, the A.I world portrayed is exactly how I visualized what the A.I. Spheres in the epic Sci-Fi novel 'Hyperion' looked like which I always really liked. Also that anime company Polygon made the 3DCG Sidonia. If you have a thing against 3D anime then maybe Sidonia will change your mind as it did with mine. That first time in the cockpit when the big space robot takes off and the buttons and dashboard lights up is too damn cool beans! No wonder there's people obsessed with becoming pilots and driving and things. Looking forward to the Sidonia movie when it gets web released (On the high seas)!
