Mentioned before that I wanted to do a little Rec list of anime rankings from Spring season 2021 with a bit more detail from my seasonly Twit anime rankings. None of these recs are criticisms just j

1) Shadow House

Great moe/fantasy anime which is rare. The concept with shadows and real selfs is really neat where the shadow self must mirror their masters.

2) Vivy

Best animation of the season. It's terminator meets anime meets idol anime with awesome songs akin to Macross Delta. 

3) Tokyo Revengers

Romancing the delinquent yakuza youth. Normally I feel nothing with cliffhangers but this one has me looking forward to what unexpected things happens next. This one is still airing so those who want to watch the whole in one go should wait.

4) Fumetsu no Anata  

Also still airing but I enjoyed the 1st cour so far. An immortal boy lives through generations lives of people he meets. Concept itself has great potential for good melodrama which it tries to do.

5) Mashiro No Oto 

Josei type anime like Chihayafuru where school club tries to be the very best. Really gets me in the mood for music. If you liked Kono Oto Tomare! then you will definitely like this one.

6) Strange Taxi Taxi

The highest rated anime for a lot of people. Not the conventional anime and so it gives a breath of fresh air I think to a lot of peeps.

7) Mars Red

I'm actually still watching this but I can say one thing for sure, best OST of this season. 

8) Nagatoro   

Get your Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! fix with this anime. 

9) BHnA 

Boku Hero has high highs and low lows. Nothing great has happened so far on the 1st cour so something great is probably coming in the 2nd cour airing now.

10) ZombieLand 

Less comedy than the 1st season. More drama this time but still has some great comedy episodes like with the washed out radio presenter and the always best Lily episode.

11) Fruit Basket Final

Anybody who liked the classic shoujo Fruit Basket S1 and S2 (I really liked the first season) probably will want to watch this to see how it all comes tumbling, tumbling down.

12) TWEWY

I haven't finished it so I can't say much except that the videogame is highly rated with people calling it one of the best RPGS ever so I must watch it whether I would like it or not! 

And now for my premonition anime recommandation!

With my many sagely years of anime watching experience, 'Uramichi Oniisan' is going to be the best anime of this hot summer season without a doubt. I've seen 3ep's and it's convinced me :) Sardonic, sarcastic, self-depreciating humour with innocent moe children and washed-out adults. It's a seinen comedy and chances are one of the characters could be your spirit animal.
