Thanks for replying! I’m quite poorly so I’m celebrating my 40th birthday for my 35th (this year) and there’s a list I need to complete. 1 is go to a concert and 1 is to get into the pit lol! I’ve seen some of your shows online and the vibe is so amazing; I’d have to bring my mum though and she’s such a fan girl! I hope she gets dragged out by security that’d make my night lmao! for my first few shows we planned what i was gonna say but when it came to going on tour i very quickly realised that it’s just fun to bounce off the vibe of the crowd so it’s not nearly as rehearsed.
although it’s still useful to discuss what i’m gonna say before/after songs because my drummer triggers the backing track and he needs to know when to trigger it!

when you’re rehearsing for shows like tour how much is planned. for example do you know exactly what you’re gonna say in between songs and stuff or do you just say what comes to you on the day

we’re going with a different company so it won’t be an issue. the last one we used noticed that the generator didn’t work and instead of replacing it with another generator that is the appropriate size, they just decided to buy a new one that was WAY too small.. so it just didn’t work.. BASTARDS HONESTLY and i didn’t get my money back😒

i would LOVE to visit italy. idk why i’ve never been? i’ve been to spain and france and greece and bulgaria and austria and the netherlands and a bunch of random islands but never italy even though it seems the most inviting to me.
i don’t really think about collabs that much but it’d be cool to do something with bring me the horizon lol
and it depends on what gig i’m playing and who i’m writing with. i have the BEST time writing with stef and rory who i wrote worms and tell me that you’re okay and lalala with but playing a show to a good crowd is unbeatable

UGH everything!!! depends who i’m working with really, i know my people now BUTTT i’d say the most tiring thing is figuring out specifically how to word the things i wanna say. a lot of the time we’ll be looping the verse of a song and just trying to find the BEST way to fit the words together. lyrics are always the hardest, the instrumental kinda comes naturally but it’s difficult to word things exactly the way i feel them.
the hardest part of recording is probably just getting out vocals in the way i picture them in my head. and then worrying that i sung them better in the demos. and then getting stressed about picking specifically which parts to comp.
