For me, the final scene confirms that Negan-Joe is an hallucination that Butcher has. It's a theory that I have since a long time because we didn't see Negan-Joe talking with anyone else than him, he's always there to push Butcher to do bad stuff (like would do a bad subconscient if Becca represents the good one) and their background can be fake (in fact Butcher never saved the guy). I take the final scene as a confirmation because here, Negan-Joe doesn't talk at all with Sameer and Sameer seems surprised when Butcher turns eyes in his direction.
This episode was really cool. I felt so sad for Hughie's dad dying but at the same time, with everything that happened, it was the only choice : he killed people, by accident and at least one willingly, he had no control of himself and his power, he was losing his mind⦠He would have got killed no matter what, so better to die willingly and with people you love. A-Train and Ashley working together, that's something I didn't see coming and I don't know if it can last with Sage who clearly knows the truth and is waiting for one mistake. Homelander being like that with Ryan is not a surprise but to see Ryan accepting Homelander's way to see/do things⦠it's the beginning of the end.
