Couple of fun facts: the voice actor of Courtney is the same one who voices Ellody(member of the Genius duo) and Laurie( member of the Vegans), the voice actor who does Bridgette is the same one who does Carrie( best friend duo), the voice actor for Owen is the same one that voices Jacques( member of the ice dancers) and Brody( Geoffโs best friend) and the orange bird that collapsed that safety net(or whatever it was๐ ) from that tower was the โScott Birdโ from Total Drama All-Stars and the lady who wore that swan bird was a call back( In IRL) when a Icelandic singer name Bjรถrk wore it to the red carpet

Then they realized they had like 40 new characters to introduce and didn't want to waste time introducing someone who only existed to get voted off, so they swapped him out for a returning character. Although I've only seen bits and pieces of this season, myself. Interested to see how it plays out.
