Iβve never seen this trilogy. Iβll start on the first one this afternoon, assuming Matthew is involved ππ Also, check out Dolores Claiborne, for Patreon. Itβs Stephen Kingβs favorite adaptation from his book of the same name. He wrote the book with Kathy Bates in mind after seeing her in the film Misery. This is arguably her best performance and itβs also her favorite role sheβs ever played. Danny Elfman does the score and itβs a masterclass in story telling through time. Itβs also the only Stephen King film and book that donβt involve any supernatural elements. The Shawshank Redemption doesnβt count because itβs technically a Novella.
