So the reason Okabe is always talking about being a mad scientist and "The Organization" and "Agents" and stuff is because he just thinks that stuff is cool and edgy, and he likes to play a character called "Hououin Kyouma" and all his freinds kinda just play along because that's how he is. The conspiracy stuff isn't meant to be taken seriously. And he's not a scientist, just a 19 year old nerd who likes to pretend to be an evil genius. Do not worry about being confused, the first episode is incredibly fast-paced, disjointed, and confusing. They don't do a good job at all of conveying that it all takes place within one day, from morning to afternoon. I would recommend re-watching episode 1 if you're still incredibly confused. The show definitely gets less confusing as time goes on. Also the dialogue is written to be extremely witty and there's a lot of banter and quick talking, don't feel too bad if you don't perfectly catch everything, the stuff that's important to the plot they usually make pretty clear, but there are lots of jokes and references and stuff in the dialogue.

To (non spoilery) answer your question about the text, he sent one message, which got split into three parts somehow, and (the text) traveled five days into the past, somehow. This episode is confusing, but don't worry. It'll all make sense eventually! The one thing I will say that might help you is that, yes, he is a bit of a conspiracy nut. He's a kid playing mad scientist, only now he's stumbled across something impossible...
