November Summary

Week 1

It was a strange week for me, the first week I spent away from my ex partner to try to work out our problems. It was hard to focus and my mind was elsewhere, so working and sleeping were low. I stayed with my sister who was and continues to be a huge support.

Early Light/Dawn Exclusive:

I made a design for the Christmas season with the Sword of Protection with Christmas lights and tinsel. I have several design ideas that I hope to have ready for Christmas.

Dusk Exclusive:

Because work had been a struggle this week, I worked on finishing sketches and designs I had made. This included the Forest Spirit Catra enjoying her vines.

Week 2

This week started with my ex partner and I deciding to break up. After 6 years it was sad and a huge change. I left the house and all my things except what I needed for work. The break up was mutual so I had the chance to slowly move out of the house when I could. I have been trying to work out a new living arrangement and financial support so I can afford my expenses. It's been stressful.

Dawn Exclusive:

I was tired and emotional so working on colouring art was easier than thinking of new ideas that I could put into practice. Halloween Jason!Adora and Juliet!Catra look much better in colour, imo.

Week 3

I felt a little better this week, trying to connect with friends and explain what had happened. I didn't talk much about my troubles in my relationship so it came as a bit of a shock to everyone. It was nice talking about it and realising that things weren't all in my head.

Early Light/Dawn Exclusive:

I did a redraw of an old Spoptober sketch of Catra and Adora kissing on their old spot in the Fright Zone. The redraw came out a lot better, its amazing what a year can do ~

Dusk Exclusive:

A patron suggestion for Catra baking in just an apron gave me a great chance to draw her adorable butt. I really enjoyed making this one, and the final product is something I am proud of ~

Week 4

I was slowly moving things to my sister's house and trying to work in between when I started getting heating issues on my computer. I could barely use it for long without the CPU overheating. I had to order some cooling gel but most of this week was a struggle to get things done.

Dawn Sketchbook Page:

I did pose practice and sketched out patron ideas for the sketchbook page. There were lots of cute suggestions for Domestic Bliss.

Dusk Sketchbook Page:

I spent a long time working out posing for the end of month art and most of the dusk sketch page is aulternative poses for cuddly love, and Catra attempting to "help" Adora study.

End of Month

I worked on the end of month art into the new month because of the heating issue not allowing me to work for long periods of time. When it was fixed I was able to complete both artworks and I am very happy with how they turned out.
